5th: Death in form and function [Video -> Text]
[Today finds Eu walking the area just outside the city's high walls. Stalking the near parts of the wastes for signs of life, Eu was determined to to test a theory purposed by Miss Unohanna the last time the pair spoke. She had purposed the Necromancer demonstrate the extent of her powers on the local wildlife while hunting for food.
The silent hunt eventually yields fruit in the form of a large yellow bird. While Eu would normally be against the random death of even a wild beast, she was running low on food and the knowledge gleaned from the attack would cement her position in the worlds grand-scheme. Then, without a second thought, Eu speaks a single word filled with great and dark power.]
Die...
[After a moment of silence the great bird lets out a loud and piercing cry. Seemingly overwhelmed with extreme pain, the creature then falls over dead. Eu, a sad look on her face, slowly shuffles over to the creature and begins preparing to carve it for future use. The feed ends as the Necromancer summons her scythe in preparation for an act best left unseen.]
