And I've looked down on rainbows
And smiled the dirty smile
Of A Silent Youth
I raced my tears to the bottom
And came out on top
While the peroxide foamed
And bleached the dirty smile clean
Now a new light provides the view
And the chemicals were alive
When ours faded to yours
When love provided the outcome
Thinking you said forever
I smiled the bright smile
But inside it hurt
Because forever isn't as long as I wanted
Now your stained on my arm
I wouldn't have had it any other way
In no fear of regret
I don't want to forget what forever was like
Now the starts glister brighter than forever
And the clean smile is the source
