Cellphone Woes
Unfortunately, I lost it last Wednesday. I only realized it before I went to sleep after midnight.
Aaargh! I could hardly even go to sleep that night (or should I say morning?) .
I prayed and I begged in my prayers that may the Lord God help me find it.
So I woke up early that same morning (only had 4 hours of sleep), and prepared myself for school.
When I came down the stairs, my mother surprised me as she suddenly appeared out of nowhere and began interrogating me
why I was so early when my class would have been hours from then.
I was lucky I evaded her questions or I would've had an early morning sermon.
I arrived at school about 9 a.m. and class would start after 1 and a half hour.
Good thing I met one of my friends along the way and helped me out with my search.
But nothing came of my plight. The room we last used was locked and when we checked out the lost and found, no item was turned over that was recovered from the previous day. *Sigh*
After having a hearty lunch, all my friends offered their time to help me. It was really very thoughtful of them (I love them so much).
But even after all that, I rode the bus home empty-handed.
When I arrived at our house, I told my mom and she just blew up like a volcano. She even called my aunt over the telephone to tell her I lost my cellphone and asked if she could have her old, run-down cellphone back. After the ruckus she made, she told me to break the news to dad after he had enough rest already.
Its because he's the notorious hot-head in our family (I think I'm second). But after dad got home, ate a pre-meal dinner and sat down on his lounge chair, mom instantenously opened up the topic and did not even give me time to prepare myself for dad's would-be reaction.
But what really surprised me the most was that after I broke the news to dad, he took it calmly. It was a miracle! Haha
I felt relieved and kinda wondering why he didn't explode (but I was happy that he didn't). >_<;;
I guess that's the only silver lining that I had in this because they're not going to give me a new cellphone. *Sigh*
