Okay, well, where should I start? Perhaps, erm, my purchases? No, let me start from the boring, everyday beginning.
I woke up this morning, I ate two Eggo chocolate chip waffles, I drank a bottle of Mountain Dew, and I said "Rn" when my dad said "Good morning." Then, I took a shower, I got dressed- my hair wasn't exactly cooperating- and I picked up Kait to go to the mall.
At the mall Kait annoyed some grumpy old dude reading the paper at a table while we waited in line at Barney's Coffee Shoppe. That was funny.
Then, we went to Hot Topic where we saw and met up with Den Den. Also where my dad wouldn't let me to get the skirt that I wanted [the skirt was my MAIN reason for going to the mall.] So, when he left the store I tried it on for length because his argument was that it was "too short." It wasn't. Of course, he still said "No." because I "challenged him in front of my friends." Whatever. He just didn't want to be proven wrong by a "kid." Parents don't seem to like being proven wrong by anyone, especially their children.
After our visit to Hot Topic we went to Pac Sun [formerly known as Pacific Sunwear- wow, our society sure is getting lazy] and I bought two shirts [Element and Dickies] and a pink and black punk star belt buckle.
We went to the U.S. Cellular store to fix my voice mail [the system wouldn't recognize my passcode from my cell phone.]
Kait, my dad, Den Den, and I went to FYE where they didn't have any of the CD's I wanted so I bought the two old Alkiline Trio CD's [which I guess could count as them having TWO CD's that I wanted.] They are good CD's- Kait, you would like the album "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" a lot.
All of us went to borders to get Kait the Coheed and Cambria CD [the band which I've known about since before they were all popular and on the radio and crap.]
Then Kait, my dad, and I left to take kait home and for me to eat at home. Den Den went to work.
So, that was my day.

Now, time for me to complain.
Senses Fail is MY band- an AWSOME. I've known about them and have been nearly obsessed with them for like four years. They have a music video out now and I'm sure will soon be playing on the Buzz and other radio stations. Kait and I have their FIRST cd [an EP album.] So, when you all start hearing about them and listening to their music and hear about their new CD [which is already in stores- so when you hear about it "being released" it will be a re-release] please note that I am, indeed, a trend setter. For the past two years, a lot of "new" songs and alot of "new" bands that come out on the radio and become popular, I have listened to for at least [meaning an approximation] a year and a half. So, including [but not limited to]: Coheed and Cambria, Senses Fail, [and probably soon to be "new bands"] Face to Face, and Copeland- I have known, and listened to, and loved before they ever became just another band on a pop-culture radio station.

Okay, enough of my criticizing the stupid pop-music society.
Hey, Kait, How about "Aurora" for your kitty's name? So, it sounds like a girl's name- but it's a cute name for a kitty!
I guess I'll leave you with some Alkiline Trio lyrics. Good-night.

"hey there sleepy smile, i see you've brought your bedroom eyes. not assuming you wanna keep 'em. i'm assuming you reckon you won't. all you've been asking for has been placed in front of you...there's nothing to hold you but the flames. nothing to see here but the rain."
"most relaxing thing i do, hang half way out a third floor window, and look at rocks if i fall out. and maybe i'll fall hard. something tough to break me, something sharp to rip into my insides and bleed out all that pain. sorry i don't even know your name. i guess for me it's easy this way. maybe i'll catch fire. something warm to hold me, something pure to burn away the darkness that hides inside my mind. all that evil shit's not hard to find. i guess i only claim to be nice."
"My, my what a mess we've made Of our pretty little heads these days...You have to be the cutest gravedigger I've ever seen And all your lonely nights...Letters meant to be sent have been torn The phone lies off the hook, on the floor All these "I'm sorry"s and "I miss you"s are useless.
I fucked this one up long ago...My, my what a mess we've made Of our precious little lives these days It appears a big fucking tornado has twisted us up recently."
