My Story Thus far

I am sitting in Inchon Airport after i don't know how many hours of flying. I got out of cincinnati with no problems. Well even security was pretty fast compared to previous years. Which says a lot for the TSA as of late. It is still stupid as hell to remove your shoes. But last year i had to remove every single electronic device from my bag since i can't check any of it. I only had to take the laptop out and that is easy if you have the kind of case that opens up just send it on through. I had packed pretty light but was still over what i thought was the weight limit. Turns out you can have 2 bags weighing no more than 50 pounds each. Of course the calls i made and checking the website doesn't make this clear. That plane i was on was horrible those were the most uncomfortable seats i have sat in since TWA was around. 4 hours and 20 minutes of complete discomfort.
San francisco was another story. I got in 30 min early and figured i had plenty of time to make my connection with Leisure. NOPE! I had to check in again for this leg of the flight. The line at Asiana was HUGE. I did something dirty and ran up to a counter real fast, and explained that i was just making a connection and needed to check in real fast. The lady was nice and let me check in. Took a second and i was on my way. If you have not flown recently you need to know that most airport security checkpoints have been turned into what is called a choke point. They herd everyone that needs to get past security into these serpentine lines and they don't even have enough stations for the masses trying to get through. I blame ole George W for this. Him and his campaign of fear against america is still working against the us citizen. Somehow it didn't take as long as i thought it would. The flight it'self was pleasant enough. I was sitting next to a friendly Campbodian man that engaged me in pleasant conversation throughout the flight. Still 12 hours in cattle class can be painful.
So here i am in Korea. I really need to make this one of my stops again one day. I have only been here when i was transferring flights or when i was in the navy. I am dragging too much crap with me. If it weren't for the fact that i can carry a second item something would have gotton left behind. Once we landed i hit yet another choke point that was simply stalled. Thanks again George W! Your fear mongering has managed to reach all over the world. I was hoping to get a shower in here but i don't have time so whoever i am sitting next to on this final leg isn't going to be happy with me at all. My friend Boons brother and her niece will be picking me up from the airport so i am saving close to 15 dollars for transportation. I don't know if i will get to see her or not. By some amazing coincidence her boyfriend is in town the exact same time. Well next report will be sometime after i have landed. I had planned on taking pictures but my carry on ripped and i don't feel like opening it again just to get my camera out. :(
