If it's a sword spar you are after, then you need not look any further. I happen to be one of the greatest swordsmen, to even rival Drizzt Do'Urden in skill with blades.

Haha! Although it's not like you would even know who Drizzt Do'Urden is.

I had heard that Gakupo is from your country, so I was curious about comparing the fighting styles. Would you say that he learned much of his fighting style from you? Or do you think his is more unique?

Gakupo-san seems to be a typical samurai type. Ah, so yes, his style does come from me, though it is more specialized. I cover more areas, you see.

Interesting. So his style he learned from you, but you as a nation you know many more styles... although that doesn't necessarily mean that he is more or less skilled than you are. I happen to be a practitioner of many, many styles of sword fighting, as I adapt my fighting style whenever I see a new technique or style I think might be useful. Thus you might not exactly recognize any specific sword patterns that you'd be familiar with, as I learned much of my skills from traveling the different planes of existence.

Hmm, I have not fought Gakupo-san in the past, but I have thousands of years of practice. I learn from my fights as well, so perhaps my techniques are not as pure as they would be straight from home.

Heh, I figure if I do duel you it will save me quite a great deal of time. You have the wealth of swordsmanship knowledge of your entire nation, and as such if I fought you, it would be much like battling every swordsmen in your country.
