As for my tastes, the latest and greatest would do back home-- but seeing how that's kinda impossible now, the best you can find. Faux fur is fine as long as you can't tell it's faux. Something high-quality, fashionable, stylish, et cetera. As in something for a sophisticated party, but minus the tuxedos. That's a little too classy. It's got to go well together; noticeable, but not like a sore thumb.

To be safe, stick with a muted color palette. Black also happens to look best on me.
