[Ow! By which I mean he roars in pain at that, even stumbling a bit, spinning and trying to knock Luffy away with his arms. His tail and movement in general is making the lake crazy with waves...]

[Lucky for him, Gear Second makes him move waaaaay faster than a huge monster.]

Hn! You're almost as big as Surume! [He put his thumb in his mouth and bit down on it.]

Gear Third! Gomu Gomu no... [He puffed up his arm, making a large hand the size of a giant's. He then used Armament haki to make it iron hard. BRINGIN' THAT SHIT DOWN ON YOU NOW.] ELEPHANT GUN!!!!!

[So Godzilla resists a lot of damage, which Japan... mostly keeps sort of?! I can only assume it's his weird skin. Though he doesn't have Godzilla's regeneration at all so Luffy definitely will have the advantage in this.

Anyway getting hit by that makes him roar even louder. Be careful Luffy, when the lake is so close--! Japanzilla stumbles after that stubborn as ever, swinging his arms and his tail at Luffy.]

YOSH! [But when he sees how much the waves are becoming rougher, he wraps his arm around Japan's neck (you know he's gonna hate himself after this) to basically near choke him, and drag him AWAY from the lake.]

Gotta keep you away from my ship--! [After landing on a building a good distance away, he pulls with all his strength to make Japan get on the ground and out of the lake.]

[AUGH WHAT IS THIS. He's definitely struggling, flailing his arms and trying to pull away all while roaring. Of course that's not really helping him too much, but as he moves away from the lake, he's not going down too easy, trying to bite or swing at Luffy in any way he can, even while being strangled.]

[He put on his Armament haki to avoid being bitten. CHOMP DOWN AND YOU'LL PROBABLY LOSE YOUR TEETH. Since I'm assuming he doesn't have teeth like a shark's? He has to try and tighten his grip in order to keep him coming.]

GET OUT OF THE DAMN LAKE! [He uses his free arm to whack him with another Jet Pistol, hoping to make him listen.]

[He crashes forward with a roar at that hit. God Japan is going to feel so beat up after this... But yes, he's in no way going down willingly, but he sort of crashes out of the lake. In all that, his tail is now thrashing around angrily and he's still roaring and trying to get back to his feet.]

[He will do anything to make it up to you after this. But not at the moment. He takes his arm off of Japan, coming back to him with a loud snap.]
