I don't even update anymore because I end up staying up so late or waking up early and heading straight to the computer to work on my stories. And then I would have two hours to get ready to go to city hall. I think my stories themselves sum up my entire week.
MONDAY: Immigration rights rally. Uno de Mayo. Enough said.

http://www.sanfranciscosentinel.com/news_in_brief/police_commission_060503.shtml THURSDAY: I got a scoop*. It was a big one for city-standards. And then I met dykons.

http://www.sanfranciscosentinel.com/news_in_brief/cinco_de_mayo_060506.shtml Now, it's Saturday which gives me some time to clean my room. I'm heading down to the South Bay to see the Fabu-lishous Spam and we're going to attempt to check out the only dyke bar in Santa Clara. If that's boring, we'll hit San Jose and try to out you-know-who!
Speaking of out, I'm running out of money, thanks to the expensive plane tickets to the AAJA Convention in Hawaii. Aloha. I just found out that NABJ will be having its convention in...Indianapolis.
"Doh!" Homer Simpson said.
*Scoop- in journalese, it's when you run a breaking news and major story ahead of every single other city media. The deadlines are much faster than Breaking News.
I also learned this week that there is wireless outside of City Hall! That makes me happy. SFTechConnect rocks. And Cinco de Mayo doesn't celebrate Mexican Independence Day so put your margaritas down.
