Yes folks in a society where people marry for money, citizenship , and status; letting gays marry would supposedly tarnish the fine institution of morals society has made it. Marriage that can be bought in Vegas on a whim and anulled 24 hours later in another state, that should now be modified "til death or divorce do you part?" to allow homosexuals to marry would taint the good image we have made of the idea of marriage.
