BLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
God, I haven't written in such a long time i dont even know what to write about anymore...first of all, this qtr. is going down the shitter..well...my immunology grades were never at a comfort level that it COULD go down the shitter 'cause it was already in the shitter to begin with!!!! let's just say, my mid-term grade was below (quite below) the class avg.!! but DAAAAAAAMN, the class avg. in both immuno. & biochem were rather high!!! ! biochem, i'm passing.....70's...i could be doing better, but im' not...and why?? 'cuase i never learn my lesson and always procrastinate and never study more than 2 days (at BEST) before an exam....writing, which i thought would be an easy grade, is turning out to be rather hell-ish 'cause my writing is lacking..or rather, my research is lacking and im' trying to just pull stuff out of my ass to write about just to fulfill the requirement for the # of pages...."quantity over quality" was my motto last night when trying to finish a 14 pg. draft (wel., really 8 more pages tacked onto the previous 6 pg. draft i had done that was due last week) GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
what sucks more is that i got a haircut on Fri. at hairplace one (which usu. does a decent job)...and the girl cutting my hair was nice and actually talked to me (there's been times when i go and i literally just sit there and the girl will cut my hair w/out oany kind of verbal communication)...and i said i wanted the kind of hair style britney murphy has (from "8 mile")..a bit shorter and flippy on teh ends....so it didn't look too bad the first day (when it was freshly cut)..but at the same time, it was by no means that great, either....and now my hair just falls flat and doesn't "flip" and i look like....*sob for dramatic effect*....ASIAN RACHEL FROM FRIENDS FROM 5 YEARS AGO!!! remember the "rachel 'do"?? yeahk well, doesn't look so hot on me!! and the toher day when i got out of the shower and was blow drying my hair, my sis was like "OH MY GOD, IT'S ROD STEWART!!" granted, its' not THAT bad (i don't think..??)...but then i was like "OH MY GOD, it's BILLY RAY CYRUS!!" 'cuase i have that 2 levels of layers-thing going on and the back/bottom layer tends to just go flat...so it ALMOST BARELY resembles a mullet...and this makes me infuriated..i've gotten some "nice" comments..like "it looks nice" or "i like your hair"...2 people were rather enthusiastic about it.....but then you get the "oh, you cut your hair"..sounds nice & friendly..but you know they just want to acknowledge that you did something diff't and they dont' want to be rude, but they don't want to be insincere, either...believe me, if somenoe i know got this 'do, there'd be nothing else for me to say but "oh, you got your haircut!!"
anyway, i'm just killing time 'til i donate blood today at 1:45..at least that's when my alleged appointment is for...remember last time i tried to make an appointment?? "oh, your name isn't on the list..but you can still donate" gee, thanks....i get to sit here and wait for all eternity for the line to die down so i can donate when I HAD ALREADY MADE AN APPOINTMENT!!!!
so halloween was rather fun..i went to Salem w/ dave, his roommate Ken (aka: wan chi..he's an exchange student from singapore) and our friend pam....it was fun...we went to 2 haunted houses and the witch wax museum..all for $14....and got to see tons of freaky people dressed up....one guy was in a penis costume....and of all people, i did not know that's what it was...i thought it was a tooth 'cause the guy had his legs poking through at the bottom..so i was thinking a molar tooth....(HEEEY!! i don't know!!)..and another dude was dressed as Jesus, which started a commotion and a mockry of the Mesiah...of course, there were other "jesus freaks" there, w/ giant signs of "save your soul from hell"...so i geuss it balanced out..???
then coming home, we got stuck in an hour's worth of traffic...not even on the highway.just on teh road LEADING to get ONTO the highway!! yeah, pretty crazy....though i think the most clever costumes i saw were these 3 guys ..we were all stuck in traffic on that street..and they were all dressed in suits...2 of the guys had these ear pieces in their ear, and the other guy was supposed to be the president...so it was funny 'cuase hte "secret service agents" came out waving to traffic (as if to say "stop your car-the president is crossing the street") and then they all crossed the street....oh, the lamest costume was this asian guy in a horrible elvis costume..the plastic-y kind that you always pay lots of $$ for anyway no matter how cheap it is....oh well..
...and now i think im' getting a cold...and it sucks..and my apt. was FREEZING last night...my apt. is either hot as an oven, or as cold as it is outside.. i just don't get it.....*shrugs*.....
oh, elizabeth's birthday was yesterday, for those of you who didn't know....i sent her an email..= ) \
i think dave misses me (even though we still hang out at least once a week)...but i'll explain more of that later
the new, tv versoin of "carrie" is on tonight if anyone's interested..i think i'm going over to Lothida's (aka: LoPho's) to watch it w/ her..
i'm sure there's more...but i'll discuss at a later time..and to elaine, i read a couple of your LJ updates, but you update sooo frequently!! (which isn't necessarily bad)....and i havent read anyone else's in a long time...so hopefully, i will catch up some time soon
