Busy, Busy, Busy...
Well, this past weekend was certainly a lonely one! Uteng couldn't even let me come over as he usually lets me!! Not fun! I spent most of my weekend alone with Squiggles working on a whole bunch of stuff I sure as heck didn't even wanna do. I worked on some Criminal Justice stuff, some CIS 1055 stuff, Asian Religions stuff, and some of my own stuff. Ugh, how boring all of that was. But I guess it wasn't so bad, since when I was on a break or so, I managed to watch some Death Note and some Peacemaker Kurogane. [Note: DEATH NOTE IS CRACK X.o] And I seriously have missed watching that ♥. Well, when Saturday came around, Uteng and I managed to meet up a few hours before Vanessa was to come to down. [She was here for an anime convention, and we wanted to do lunch] Unfortunately, she was horribly late because of her over drinking the night before and the fact that they somehow had car trouble the next morning. Yikes. But at least, she did apologize profusely. XDD
We managed to hang around for a while in Chinatown and had some light dinner at Joy Tsuin Lau. Unfortunately, Uteng was rushing through the meal because he had dinner arrangements with this parents. *sigh* That was another lonely and stressful night filled with work. At least, I had Death Note and Peacemaker Kurogane. And at least I got Uteng to like Death Note as well XD. We'll hopefully be watching it when this next weekend comes.
Sunday came around, and we went off to Mr. Boejangles's house for some sort of music stuff. Uteng also got the new Metal Gear [?] game for his computer. Other things we did were watching "The Office" and "Always Sunny in Philadelphia." I was just happy to be out of the apartment and be able to read some "Romance of the Three Kingdoms."
Oh well. Hopefully, I'll be able to get Death Note manga from Evan tomorrow in Japanese class. But gosh dangit, that was on sucky ass weekend....
