What a Weekend!

Lets see... Uteng stayed the night again on Wensday, and we went up to New York on Thursday via the Chinatown bus. :D We went off to Times Square and Kinokuniya [again because I wanted to see if they had one of my Japanese textbooks for cheaper] after making a quick stop at the NBC Experience store to just look around at all the cool stuff they had from Scrubs and Saturday Night Live. I definitely think that the next time me and Uteng head up we definitely have to fit in a tour of the place haha.

Surprisingly at Kinokuniya, we also managed to find another book that I was looking for to match my "Romance of the Three Kingdoms Volume 1". I was happy. :D It was also the first time Uteng had seen Times Square, and he seemed to like it very much and surprisingly used the word "cool" to describe it. XD That was such a first. He said it reminded him of Hong Kong and a little bit back "home" in China. :D I so want to go to Hong Kong/China.

After Times Square and Kinokuniya it was off to the Wii store because Uteng wanted to see the Transformer game that I had told him about. We tried it. It's super hard!! I can't believe people like this stuff haha! But it was cool. After that it was off to a quick stop at Le Maison du Chocolat and dinner at a Japanese restuarant just of Times Square called Iroha. :] How yummy the Tendon was. [Tempura don = Tempura and rice yum!] And after that it was back home we went! How tired we were! Not to mention we had to get up early the next day! Yikes!

Well it was just as I thought when it came to Wildwood and Atlantic City. Mother cancelled the hotel. -__- But nonetheless we got to go to Six Flags, spent a night in Wildwood, and spent a day in Atlantic City. :] The taxes in Atlantic City are OUTRAGEOUS! Our hotel tax alone was already 15%!! And I still owe Drew $60 bucks. -_- Yikes. I hate being poor! Oh well, I'll probably have it by next week or so. But anyway.. Six Flags was totally fun :]. This time we went to Hurricane Harbor. I ♥ water slides, and it was such a fun trip despite the fact that the day was quite cloudy and oddly cool. But I guess that's the start of Fall for you. But either way, we all had such a good time I think despite the fact that Uteng was a bit upset during the beginning of the day. He was rather upset over some issues with his family, and he obviously was upset over the fact that our vacation was ruined by my mother. Of course it got me upset too *sigh*. But nonetheless, we somehow managed to cheer up and have a good time out at Six Flags and at the beach.

But anyway, we spent a good part of the day at Hurricane Harbor with me, Uteng, and Drew arriving at about 11 in the morning and meeting up with Nick and Christina at about 2 or so. We went on soo many different types of waterslides and aftera while and after some lunch, Uteng and I went of to the "kid's" area to snoopar oudn because I saw a whole bunch of neat stuff haha. And we had to admit, it wasn't really kiddy, and it was quite fun! Even Uteng said that Nick and Christina and Drew should've gone! Well after a while at the kid's place, Uteng and I went of to the Wave Pool and did some swimming. :D Unfortunately, the others wouldn't join us there either. Unfortunately as well, the lifeguards were kind of douchebags and were really stressing people to get out of the pool. I mean seriously though, you only really have to blow the whistle once or twice for most people to get the message, but oh well, what can ya do right? Well, after that we thought about heading off to Six Flags since there was an after 4:00 discount, but we decided against it since we were all awfully tired.

Off to Wildwood it was! We didn't do much that night other than check in and go out for dinner. We all went out to some 50's diner on the Boardwalk. It wasn't bad, but I was definitely craving something so much better. XD

But after that, we just did a little more walking around the Boardwalk and eventually turned in for the night.

Unfortunately the next day, Drew, Uteng, and myself were rushing out of the room early in the morning because we didn't realize that check out time was already at 10! [We got pretty lucky the night before since someone had cancelled for the weekend and we managed to get their room.] Well that was ok I suppose, check out was surprisingly easy, and we managed to get out of there probably by 11. First stop! The beach! The water was sooo cold, and the waves were sooo strong! It was really hard to even just walk in it! But it was fun. :D After that and lunch, it was another walk down the Boardwalk since Drew had found some sort of comic book shop that sold "old school" Transformers stuff along with some of the new stuff. That part was kinda boring. But what could I do? I certainly can't really walk around on my own. No one has my phone number but Uteng. Oh well.. At least seeing everyone transform their stuff was amusing... At least for maybe 15 minutes. :\ Oh well.

After that, Atlantic City! We didn't do much during that time since we got there at around the evening. We ended up pretty much just walking around the Atlantic City Boardwalk and having dinner. Christina and the rest of us went of to the casino at Caesar's, and she ended up kinda losing 72 dollars of Nick's money. She won 8. XD But it was cool, and soon after that Uteng and I as well as Drew had to head back home. We didn't get back until 1 + the extra time it took to drive back from Drew's house. Yikes!!

Well for the next two days, Uteng and I literally did NOTHING. We got a shower the night we got back, but literally didn't get one until Labor Day. Hahahaha! Ah man we were sooo tired!! *sigh* and now we're both back in the real world -__-. I so don't want to go to class or do work right now.. Ugh....
