Barnes & Noble Adds Free Express Shipping to Membership Program
Barnes & Noble just announced that it's added free express shipping as a benefit for those enrolled in the membership program. Items arrive in 1-3 business days, and there's no minimum purchase. Membership, however, costs $25.00 annually, but considering how expensive express shipping can be, if you take advantage of the sales they sometimes have on selected DVDs (they had Departures on sale for a ridiculously low price a couple months ago!), you'll recover the $25.00 in just a couple orders.
Barnes & Noble membership also offers a number of other benefits, including in-store discounts, exclusive online sale offers, and bonus sign-up coupons.
I've hesitated to join Barnes & Noble's membership program, previously, but this new shipping deal might be the push I need to finally sign up. I'm a sucker for fast shipping, and this seems like a pretty solid benefit.
