I've emailed, talked to a fabulous admissions representative, and called a few people and things are turning a new leaf, and I'm excited.
I'm glad that disappointment can turn into something great. I've looked into places in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, New York (just a dream), Atlanta, and Philadelphia.
I cant wait to get all the stuff in the mail, I'm so excited to be going to an art school. It will be much different than the University life and I realize now, I want that. Something where, a shitty fashion design program will cause them to have a bad reputation. Fashion design at a huge college university...wouldnt be too much of a deal.
It seems to cost around 500$ a credit hour, but Parson's in NY was over 1000$ a credit hour and that's just insanely expensive for me. I just need to set everything out and read which school I want to go to.
Here's a short sum of the pros/cons:
Miami will be still in Florida and I wont feel too alone moving there, and it doesnt cost much and they seem really helpful and the program looks great.
Ft. Lauderdale, I would feel more hesitant moving there, but it depends on the program and costs.
New York...if I won the lottery.
Atlanta...depends on the program and costs, would like to tour the place, since it's like a 4 hr drive from here.
Philly...gotta hear more about the program, costs, but I will have a place to stay rent free in exchange for providing groceries in the house.
