England/Japan - Temporary death, falling in love as a ghost

Jun 29, 2011 23:39

okay, we know that Japan is one of the assumed oldest nations of the series, right? What if the oldest nations' bodies "die" after a certain point of time until they're eventually "reborn" into new, better functioning bodies?

Anon is thinking of something like where the death is only temporary until the same body they had before is reborn with all of the nation's older memories intact, since nations don't even really "die" (well, unless they were like HRE/Rome, or they lost their status as a country, like Prussia).

When war or the status of a country isn't involved in their death, the old body just simply dies and is replaced with a new one.

However, the other nations don't realize the death is only temporary and they think Japan "dies" for real.

Until one day some time later where England realizes he is being "haunted" by Japan's ghost, who is really just following England around, unaware that he is going to be reborn - Japan just wants to spend time with someone he got along with until he "passes on to the afterlife". They eventually fall in love and Japan's body eventually gets reborn?

Bonuses:
-China knew exactly what happens when nations die in that way all along because he's already been through it, being the oldest nation. But none of the others even knew he had been reborn because he's been around forever! So, he doesn't even bring it up, since nobody asks.
-England, due to being able to use magic and see spirits, can just barely "touch" Japan, and other spirits, "feeling" them up until a certain point until he falls through them like everyone else.
-Japan witnesses England using magic at some point.
-Black Kiku is involved in Japan's "death" somehow.
-The ghost girl that haunted Japan's house and met England shows up at some point, too?
