[Art] Discovering LJ
Well, at first, I subscribed for the only purpose of buying lovely PoT doujinshi, so why not giving it a try as well by the way ? I tried to hold a blog years ago, it lasted... 5 days... Maybe I'll have more motivation and that I'll have a good reason for sketching at least once per day. I try to daily do my posemaniacs practice, their 30-second drawing thing. Ok, I admit, I set the timer to 45 seconds. When you don't know what to draw, I think it's good way to kill time while exercing your skills. Oh well, here's my attempt at daily sketch hoping that noone is offended by cheesecake nudity O_o"
This is a digital drawing using MyPaint. I DO love this program a lot. Firstly because my comp' runs under Mandriva Linux and secondly for its open canvas. I understand it can be weird to paint on a no-limit canvas but in my case, I just love it. Moreover, for Linux users, I think it's a very good substitute to Corel Painter IX that I have experienced on my previous PC running under WinXP. If you ever wonder, I have an A5 Wacom Intuos3 and the watermark was added with GIMP 2.6.7 c:
