[Fanmix] ORGEL, a music box collection

Aug 02, 2011 01:09

My first intent was to gather 10 lullabies then I changed my mind: I love instrumental music the most, music boxes are sweet too, they have that strict rhythm which lull babies to sleep as well. And my selection is dedicated to contradictz /Ruby because Ghibli is love <3 In addition, a fanmix baby-oriented doesn't mean it has to be slow, quiet. I love Joe Hisaishi's compositions because he literally sculpts emotions with music; there's no words, no pictures, only music and though, you see it working, you're touched no matter your age and I'm sure babies would enjoy Joe Hisaishi too. My choices of tracks are cheerful and slower in alternance with a very relaxing last one.

And... I'm a gamer at heart and my 10th track HAD to come from a video game. But not any video game, THE video game: Seiken densetsu II! The title speaks for itself and it's a wonderful Hiroki Kikuta's melody to conclude the fanmix <3

Enjoy~

Ruby's photos were only slightly retouched because they are gorgeous to begin with. See the parallels in these? They were already there, Ruby really did an awesome composition with these leaves and stairs. The contrast between the stone in the shadow and the stone in the light is very interesting, it gives volume to the picture. Some leaves were overexposed but it's easily corrected with an image manipulation program ;) Thank you Ruby, I love them tons, you have an eye for colours that I don't have, thank you thank you for sharing <3 <3 <3
