"Park Yoochun, the cartoonist has come out with his debut novel based on his famous cartoon, known by the entire world as 'Me and You' and has hit the best seller list in many countries."
"In the first week, it sold more than 30,000 copies, and with orders of thousands more."
"Yoochun-shii joins the press for his first interview since the book has come out. Lee Haejin, Korea News"
A table sits outside, covered in a white tablecloth, microphones resting on it and multiple copies of his book lay scattered on it. He sits on the table refusing to sit behind it, Because it is like a wall, You have to connect to people to show your comfortable he remembers someone telling him before the press conference. People sit in front of him, video cameras are trained on him and recorders are on. He finally looks up his eyes are framed by black glasses; his hair is long and dark brown. He was dressed in a black blazer and comfortable dark jeans with a red shirt, Casual but professional he almost rolled his eyes at that. Smiling he motions to receive the first of many question that would be coming.
A man nods before speaking "How does a cartoonist turn into an author?"
Yoochun chuckles when he hears the question, "I tried cartoons and now I'm trying words, hoping to someday understand the people that we know and love"
Another reporter speaks "Hoping to understand?"
"After a few more books maybe" He replied. The people laugh and chuckle softly, and he smiles.
"Many people think your book is using events and experiences from your life, what do you have to say about that?" A woman in the back row asks before holding out her microphone.
"Listen here Miss - can I call you miss?" He starts and continued after she nods. "When Love is requited there is rarely a story to be told, a failed romance is not worth talking..."
"And a unrequited love?" another woman interjects.
He smiles a kind smile, one that only he seems to get. "True love never goes unrequited, It is consummated, one day or another because life has long time..." He trails off just as another reporter asks another question.
"Are there many romances like that in your life?"
He thinks for a moment before starting to speak, his voice soft, like remembering a fond memory, "Only one object of romance was in my life, but the romance that person sparked were many..."

9 years ago - Seoul, South Korea
A tall male figure watched with irritation as an older woman fussed around him, putting multiple talismans in his bag and on his clothing. He rolled his eyes looking at her impatiently. She didn't even spare him a glance as he huffed and squirmed under her close inspection.
"Umma..." He whined trying to get out of her grasp.
"Be quiet and don't move, I'm trying to put one right here." She said bending over to place another one in his bag. She continued to mutter and ignore him as he squirmed some more.
"Umma... enough!" He said finally speaking.
"Changmin! Stop it with, 'Umma! Umma!' Your going abroad, who else in our family has gone abroad?" Changmin laughs softly and smiles "And listen here, I packed you snacks to eat on the way, there is also some extra kimchi and the jjigae you like" Changmin's face fell to the 'Are you serious' face "And remember to eat almonds everyday, they'll sharpen your brain!"
Changmin smiled, and reached out to hug her. "I'll miss you, Umma"
His mother then promptly started to cry and hugged him back, "I'll miss you too."

A woman paced looking at her watch and looked around.
"Hey gorgeous" a young man said as he ran up to her smiling.
"Yoochun," She said sarcastically, "Where were you?".
He looked at her and behind him to remember what he was going to tell her.
"Forgot something in the car?" She asked.
"Yes." He replied grinning. She then held out a key chain in front of his face.
"Oh, car keys.... You see-"
"Don't even start, I don't care who he or she was," She said with slight defeat in her voice.
"Who said I was with a girl?"
"Yoochun!" she said in an accusing tone, he hand held up to try and stop his explanations. "Okay forget it, did you bring your passport and tickets?"
"Yes, Mom! I'm going to America, to study. I think I can take care of myself." Yoochun said looking straight at her.
"Yeah right," A male's voice sounded from behind Yoochun's mother. Yoochun looked away in embarrassment as the man walked up to them.
Looking back Yoochun spoke, "Hey, hyung"
"Don't 'Hey, Hyung' me, okay? I got your passport and tickets with me," He said his handsome face looking slightly irritated as he handed it to Yoochun.
"What would I do with out you, Junsu!" (A/N: the ages are flipped... because I can)
"Grow up, dongseang" Yoochun's arm settled across his shoulders
"Sure Yoochun will grow up someday" His mother said laughing.
Junsu turned to Yoochun, "Take of yourself, man, Thank god Minji is in New York, She'll take care of you"
Yoochun's face turned to one of disgust, "Don't remind me," he groaned.
"She's your girlfriend," Junsu said looking at him incredulously.
"So? There are so many hot girls and guys out there, which is why I never take any seriously." Yoochun said placing a hand on Junsu's shoulder while he rolled his eyes.
"Relationships are like... buses, one every two minutes, traffic permitting"
"Yoochun!" His mother said "I don't like your attitude towards relationships because relationships start family and make your mother, father-" His mother said disapprovingly.
"Sisters and brothers, but not my sister and brother" Yoochun said looking to Junsu for some support in his argument.
"Yoochun, you should learn to respect people" His mother said as Junsu was on the verge of laughing.
"Who says I don't respect people, I respect you, I respect Junsu, Hell I even respect Mahatma Gandhi, people in the news, people who make the news, and people who are the news, plus Seoul women, men, models... oh... models" he said imagining the recent edition of Sport Illustrated Swim Suit Edition.
"Yoochun!"
"Sorry." he said looking down
His mother smiled and pulled his hand out of his pocket and placed a small picture of Buddha in his hand. "Keep him on your desk, okay?"
"Laughing Buddha, okay I'm going too, spare me the melodramatics." He said as he looked over and saw a mother and son. "Look over there."
"Wait Changmin! -"
"Umma enough! I'm going!" The tall young man started to walk towards the baggage check area.
"Wait listen-" His mother said trying to follow his long footsteps.
"I'll be late for my flight" Changmin said as he passed in front of Yoochun and his family.
"Wait Changmin take this," She said as he stopped and she handed him a picture of his family. He reached out and hugged her, before walking away turning around only to say bye. Yoochun held his hands over his mouth as he tried to conceal the fact that he was laughing really hard. Junsu stood next to him laughing slightly while Yoochun's mother picked up a phone call she was receiving. She talked for a moment before looking at Yoochun and taking the phone away from her ear.
"Your Dad,"
"Your husband" Yoochun retorted as he took the phone. She looked away shifting on her feet as Yoochun spoke again. "Won't you at least tell me it is him with a smile?"
Yoochun took the phone and started to talk, "Hey dad, yes, um hm," He smiled, "Yes I have my passport and ticket, what is with you guys?" He looked back to where Junsu and his mother were having a small conversation about something or another.
"Hey dad, for a change, do you want to spend the holiday with me in New York?" He paused, "Yeah, okay, see you then." His smile fell slightly as he listened to his father. He then turned around and walked back, "The way that he talked, I'd think He is missing you" he said holding his mothers hand.
His mother looked at the phone that had been handed back to her, "In all these seven years, he didn't even try and call me once... Anyway Yoochun it’s best if you stay out of this mess, and concentrate on your studies." She said as he hugged him.
"Bye, Ma, Junsu take care of Ma," Yoochun said as he took slow steps toward the baggage check.
"Like you do Yoochun?" Junsu said with a small laugh.
"Hey i was just trying to set the mood like the movies, when they have nice parting shots saying 'Bye Ma' and 'Bye hyung'" Yoochun said slightly dreaming.
Yoochun hugged Junsu, who replied in a worn out voice, "Bye Yoochun,"
"Take care Ma," Yoochun said hugging them both once more and walking into the baggage check and on to his plane.
Yoochun's mother looked at Junsu "I hope he does fine,"
Junsu laughed and walked towards the exit, "You're worrying about him? I pity all the people that Yoochun find attractive."

Walking through the tiny isle down to his seat Yoochun checked the seat numbers and finally found his. It was an aisle seat, looking over to the seat next to his, he saw the same young man, around his age who he saw in the airport. He was removing the obsessive amount of charms and good luck charms that his mother had put in his bag. Sitting down Yoochun turned as saw something just as the other was putting his bag down.
Pointing to it, the other looked and removed it, "Thanks." The flight had yet to take off and Yoochun had already made up his mind, even though he had a hot, gorgeous individual sitting next to him he would not say hi, and wont even glance at him, not even if he is eyeing me, Yoochun thought.
Glancing over slightly he was taken aback; the guy faced the window and was looking at the ground. Okay, Yoochun thought, well shit.

En Route to San Francisco
Holding one of the many charms that his mother gave him, Changmin started to throw it around in his hands.
Just for the heck of it Yoochun started to throw a water bottle around in his hand just like the person next to was doing. Before he dropped it and it landed on the others foot, the other glared, and began rubbing his foot with his other foot.
The flight went by awkwardly; when the food was brought it was a welcome distraction from the tension that was thick enough, a flimsy airplane knife could cut it. Sneezing without covering his mouth, slurping his food, the man next to Yoochun frowned in disgust.
The plane ride was slow and there are no good looking air hostesses today, Yoochun sighed and stared at the magazine in front of him, which he read at least 10 times before putting it back in it place.
Randomly pulling out a piece of paper, that had a guys name and number he turned it over and started to draw, a face took shape, then a body of a cartoon teenager. Drawing another one right beside it he smiled two very different kids. /he didn't notice, every single time he moved that he accidentally hit the person next to him. Yoochun laughed to himself as he was trying to finish the drawing .The man next to him looked at him is a kind of surprise and disgust.
Okay doing the whole hard to get stuff was a waste of time, And it is a bit too late for an hello, I might as well ask him for something, like that magazine he has there. Yoochun was just about to ask when the person turned, his face a slight tan, and his hair moderately short and bangs, Yoochun hadn't gotten a good look at him until now, he had uneven eyes and a straight mouth, he looked handsome to say the least. Kind of like a model but still not as arrogant.
"Can I borrow that magazine?" Changmin asked Yoochun, who looked shocked for a moment before nodding and handing it to him with a smile.
Yoochun cleared his throat and turned to him smiling. "You know we have been sitting about three inches from each other for the last three hours, and we don't even know each others name."
"Why didn't you ask before?" Yoochun looked at the man with an expression something akin to shock. "Shim, Shim Changmin,"
"Bond, James Bond," Yoochun joked, Changmin looked down, clearly not amused but not really angry either, "Sorry, I'm Park Yoochun, but you can call me Micky," He held out his hand, Changmin took it graciously.
Just as their hands touched there was turbulence that started to shake the airplane cabin, "The makings of a highly interesting acquaintance," Yoochun said trying to flirt. But Changmin seemed immune to it as he just let go of the hand and looked at the magazine.
Yoochun decided that he had to show him something so the cartoons that he drew on the paper was the easiest thing to reach for, "This is 'Me and You'" Changmin stared at him, "Not you and me, You," He pointed to one character, "And me" he pointed to the other. "They're my cartoon characters" Changmin finally nodded, just as an airhostess came by.
"Would you like anything?" she asked.
"Let me guess your more of the tea type," Yoochun said looking at Changmin, not letting him speak he continued to speak, "One tea for him-"
"One coffee, with very little sugar, brown sugar and... About two spoons of milk" Changmin said smoothly before looking down again.
Yoochun smiled, "Nice you avoid tea, you know tea types-"
Changmin effectively cut him off, "My mother is a tea type."
"Correct! That what I was saying, tea types are for conservative people, like mothers, grandmothers, and grandfathers... Coffee is a modern drink, compared to tea." Changmin in the mean time turned up the volume he had on his headphones and rested his head against the headrest and closed his eyes, just when Yoochun looked over to him.
"Hello... Sleeping beauty... rise and shine?" There was no reaction.

For the people going on to the connecting flight to New York, it has been cancelled, the next flight to New York is tomorrow in the afternoon, at 3:30, and all passengers taking that flight have been moved to that flight. Enjoy your stay in San Francisco."
Changmin and Yoochun both looked up and listened, they had an entire day in San Francisco. And they didn't know anyone but each other.
