So I thought that my first Spanish purchase was going to be a cell phone. But now that I´ve been without one, granted it´s only been 1 week, I kinda like this elusive feeling that I get. There´s this certain calm independence that comes with not having to answer whenever someone calls. I go where I want when I want.
Don´t get me wrong, I miss text messaging during idle time and calling my friends whenever something pops into my head. And drunk dials!!! Holy hell! I miss those! But I guess there isn´t as much idle time here because there is always something interesting to look at or visit. I don´t find myself sitting around bored off my ass. Maybe cos I´m not tired of this place the way I´m over Houston.

I had a couple really strange dreams about a few people back home last night. I really don´t remember details but one was about 3 bottles of wine and one of my favorite co-physicists. And cooking.

There´s this Prado Museum here in Madrid. Imagine if it was a PRADA museum. Oh. Wow. Imagine the gift shop. That´s all.

There´s this other guy on the trip who also thinks Zoolander and Strong Bad make the world go round. However he´s unfamiliar with Teen Girl Squad. Pity.

I took my roommate to get her hair chopped yesterday. That man was amazing with a pair of scissors. Her hair is totally hot. Even the dorky boys on this trip noticed, but she doesn´t think it´s her. I wanna go back to this guy before we leave. Um, we leave crazy Madrid Sunday morning. Then our host families meet up with us in Salamanca. And we finally get to do laundry. I don´t know what I would do if I didn´t constantly overpack.
I still have 10 more minutes...guess I´ll check the Blue board or something. OMG! I was totally thinking about moving to Europe after I graduate. But then I thought about all the things I would miss. And Blue October became a major factor in staying in Stupid Houston. I´m such an addict it´s insane. But goodness, I would kill for some right now. I must have been on crack when I decided to not bring any CDs.
Shit. It´s smokey in here.
