Okay, frickin' seriously, does Livejournal suck like all the time for everyone else too? Or is it just me? Every time I use cuts or polls or the LJ User function other specifically LJ features it deletes or rearranges half of my post and then I have to fix it. Drives me frickin' crazy. And I just spent the last liek 30 minutes writing up this post when it went and deleted 75% of it. So now I have to rewrite it. DAMN YOU LIVEJOURNAL.

It's already April. I'm here for the monthly post to share my list of birthdays with you and encourage you to post and all that jabber. I REALLY HOPE YOU'LL PAY ATTENTION TO THIS POST BECAUSE I AM ASKING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK AND I REALLY HOPE I GET SOME. IT INVOLVES THE FUTURE OF THIS COMMUNITY.
So anyway I apologize for my almost complete absence (except for the Oricon Charts). School is literally eating my life and I have little time for anything other than schoolwork. It's very sad. I know. I'll try harder this month but I can't make any guarantees because we're now in the home stretch of the semester and things are starting to pick up and pile up. Wish me luck.

Okay, and now I have some questions for you! Please answer!
1. asianbirthdays is in need of a new layout, I fear! I lack both the time and the skills to do it! D8 Is anyone either a) willing to deisgn a new layout for it; b) willing to point me in a direction of where I can get someone to do it (for free) or where I can learn to manipulate LJ designs into pretty things? I will have to do it over the summer when I will have far too much time on my hands if that's the case.
2. What do I need to do to get people to post in the community? Asian Birthdays is a community, and therefore I welcome member participation. A celebrity does not need to be on my list to get a post, and posts can take whatever form you like! Profile, random facts, picspam, fangirl/boy rant, or music, mv, clip, perf, or even talk show uploads are all accepted. I only have a few rules: 1) the celebrity must be from East or Southeast Asia; 2) you must give the name, age (of available), country, and occupation of the celebrity (any celebrity counts, as long as it's in popular culture: models, musicans, actors, talk show hosts, etc); 3) please make use of the tage system! 4) please don't upload whole albums and especially not whole discographies, since Asian Birthdays is a sampling community.
3. Is there anything about asainbirthdays that you would like to change, other than my lack of posts (lol)?

I'm considering opening up a new community, by the appropriate name of oriconcharts (if you click it nothing will be there because I created it like 5 minutes ago), specifically for the Oricon Charts posts. I would really like to separate the Oricon posts and the Birthday posts because the Oricon posts don't really fit into the idea of asianbirthdays. So my question for you is, how do you guys feel about such a split? I think I will do it eventually, but it requires, again, a layout creation, and I would prefer that asianbirthdays would become more active before I make the split.
5. Finally, a poll! I want to know how many of you are in only for the Oricon Charts. The fate of the community depends on it, so vote honestly! I won't cry over the results or anything...lol. Also, try to, if you can, think of the Asian Birthdays posts as actually happening. lol.
