workout!

That's right. I finally got one in on Monday morning. I've been meaning to get one in for awhile now, but it just hasn't been happening. In any case, I did it - and it was fun. The pump I had for the rest of the day look and felt good, and the post-workout endorphin/hormone rush was just awesome. I was in a great mood all day long - all cheerful and perky and humming music and all that. I was feeling so good about myself, I wondered why I didn't work out more often. (Then I woke up on Tuesday sore as all heck and remembered why I didn't work out all that often, LOL.)

I built up a raging appetite after the workout, and took Brad over to Just Jo's for a monster breakfast - their tri-tip omelet. Imagine: Tri-tip, onions, mushrooms, Jack cheese all fried up in an omelet - then smothered in brown gravy. Freakin' A!!

Had a pretty productive Tuesday as well, aside from the time spent in class. Managed to get all the usual errands done - banking, groceries, laundry. Banking wasn't much of an issue, despite me wanting to close out an account. The groceries and laundry were a little daunting, given that it's been a few months since I've had to do either on my own. No big problems, aside from the fact that I spilled a little bit of bleach (!) on Brad's quilt (!!!). Yes, it faded some color. Boo.

Today is the usual 13hr workday, and then it's school as usual tomorrow, followed by the next 2 days off. I've been invited to go out with some buddies tomorrow evening to Hobb's Grove, a local haunted house/forest thing. It's not usually my thing, Halloween has always been more Scott (grzlybear)'s domain. The idea of going out there stirs up some strong memories, and I'm missing Scott more than usual. I think I will go, though - just for the social aspect.

Friday night is the big game - Fresno State vs. Boise State! It's a pretty big deal - ESPN2 coverage for the game, both teams undefeated in the WAC this season... It's a game I will be missing (Thank God for DVR!) - I'll be going out to dinner with some friends.

On a side note: Brad's sister got a PC from a friend, and wants me to work on it a little. Here's my chance to pilfer more parts for my Franken-rig. Bwahahaha! *evil*
