Taiwan singer-songwriter Joanna Wang is known for her unique sounds and flair for songwriting. Some listeners even compare her to Norah Jones. Joanna released her bilingual debut album Start From Here in January 2008 to wide acclaim, and her sophomore effort, Joanna & Wang Ruo Lin, is due out early 2009.
The CD includes her renditions of Paul Anka's timeless Times of Your Life, Bread's 1972 tune Aubrey, the classic Vincent, and the 1930s Mandarin oldie "Rose Rose I Love You". It also contains Joanna's own compositions co-produced with her band known as "New Tokyo Terror", including the new single His Remedy.
The 2nd Version includes 2 additional Western classic covers as bonus tracks. The Bonus DVD comes with 10 music videos from the two albums.
