“The Everyday Struggle”
The constant question I hear everyday is - “Do you wash your hair?” That question has come up more than the obvious - “Where are you from?”
Having long hair definitely has advantages. Look at something that just happened last week. After school, we were having band practice. My singer Jake brought along a nice blonde chick named, well I dont remember. I was giving this girl a tour of my room when she laid down and told me she loved my hair. I closed my door and preceded to have one of the better moments of that day. That moment was bittersweet. I found out later that girl hates Asian people now.
