car wars
so, two fridays ago, my hrududu got taken from the front of the house on avery.
for those who don't speak lapine, the language of rabbits, a "hrududu" is, literally translated, anything with an engine. in this case, it's a red jeep cherokee belonging to my brother that i drove around for a few years before it got stolen in the middle of the night from in front of my house.
this morning, i received a call from my brother, who has been handling all of the investigation via telephone, save for my filing of the police report. he said that they had found the hrududu wrapped around a utility pole, and it had been towed. i have yet to go to the tow-place to assess (that looks like too many s's) the damage for myself. i've got my orders if the car is drivable to the point of getting it back to my house, or otherwise, but both scenarios involve me being without a hrududu indefinitely.
fortunately, the weather's been damn near perfect, and i love riding my bike much more than i ever enjoyed piloting the hrududu. why, just this morning i got out of class at noon, and rode my bike for three hours around the city before going home for a wee nap before work.
speaking of class, it turns out that i'll be spending an extra semester than originally anticipated getting my bachelor's. i think that i may go for my masters after all, depending on whether or not i'm getting it funded for me. time will tell; a lot can happen in a year.
i'm very happy with my current living situation.
i'm not financially in any trouble at the current point in time.
there isn't anyone that i know of who would rather see me hurt or otherwise maimed.
and i've got an ice-cold arnold palmer sitting in front of me.
