New Job
I have a workshop for Wednesday that my agency set up for a new third-shift job.
The only problem is, its back at the World Finance Center and I'm not sure how I
feel right now about that. It just seems like serendipity to be back down there again,
so close to the former Towers site. I haven't told my son; he'll be furious, I think.
After all, his unit went to Afghanistan when the Towers were destroyed; I got lectured by
him AND his C.O. about moving. Now, with his father being such a recent worrywart, I don't
know what to think. I love those hours; its just the location that could give me a little
angst but I have to get out of where I am on the dayshift. I still don't want to give up the
other job though.
We'll see what happens. It would be just my luck for things to go so good as they are now,
only for something to screw the whole deal up.
I will promise those concerned that I will try and be careful. My phone has the ICE entry in it.
