How gas is this picture, the actual cover:
Abba was the soundtrack to my childhood, I'd have turned out differently if my dad wasn't a big fan. They are my favourite band ever. I know they are somewhat cheesy (understatement) but they made some of the most perfect pop songs ever: Look at Fernando, Voulez Vous, The Vistors. Brilliant music and lyrics. Catchy as the common cold.
The song I'm gonna pick is The Day Before You Came because I think it's a brilliant example of the wistful voice of Agnetha, who is my favourite member. Her life story is really interesting too. The song is haunting and romantic. Lovely. Last song they ever recorded together as well, so it's a touch nostalgic too.
I saw Mamma Mia in the cinema with my friends, drunk. We were being classy, we sneaked in a shoulder of gin and a bottle of tonic water and made G and T's it was amazing. We could sing along and no-one would give out cos it was a musical, dammit! One of the funniest nights of my life so far.
I have the Singstar game for the playstation and I'm scarily good at it. I'm the female Tiger Woods of Singstar.
Live performance, really cool
