Last night was soo much fun!!
I had to work from 4-9. I got to work with Ashley and Brittany which I hadn't gotten to do until yesterday. I really really like work when they are working with me. This summer I will probably go to full time as long as Ashley does. I think we are going to have to start going by middle names at work. There are 4 Ashley's, all spelled the same. I am the only one with a different last initial. All the others are Ashley R's. I'm pretty sure we all have different middle names haha. We were kind of busy last night but not so busy that I couldn't stand it. Me, Ashley, and Becky had to split a table of 15 and they were from Argentina. Half of them didn't speak english. Ashley and I had a couple Spanish classes so we could pick up a word every now and then and understand what they wanted but that had a girl there that could translate for us. One of the women I took out a baked potato and she wanted french fries, so she looks at me and says "papas fritas" or something like that. I DID know what that was. So I said I'll go get them and she had no clue what I said. But she was happy when I returned with FF.
At work some of us girls decided we wanted to do something that evening so me, Brittany, and some other people went bowling. We experienced something new last night, I definitely wouldn't want to make a habit of it. I didn't break a hundred either game that I bowled. It was terrible.
Friday was senior skip day. I had to go to Clintwood to get my glasses fixed so Britt decided to go with me. We dropped my glasses off, went to Hardee's and ate breakfast, then went and visited Mr. Vanover. I miss that man so much. I think he's gonna try to come to graduation and give Brittany and I our diplomas. I really hope he gets to. I have managed to at least drop by and see him once every school year during the day and then I'll see him at a few football games and basketball games. I really wish he would come back to Haysi and teach. He was so much fun. After that we picked my glasses up and decided that we didn't want to go home. We decided to go to Wise. When we got out there Brittany suggested going to brandon's house and I was all up for it. I knew he would probably be asleep from work the night before but Justin woke him up for me. I felt bad for getting him up so early, but I loved getting to see him. I couldn't take going 8 days without him. We stayed there until almost 3 then we came back to Haysi because Brittany and I both had to work.
I had a conference on Friday night. It was Mountain Mission's sports banquet. They had just got done eating and it was storming really really bad. The dining room and the Banquet room were full of people. The power decided to go out for about an hour. I think it was about that long anyway. When it finally came back on Mountain Mission was gone. They had decided to just go on back to their school since they had already eaten. All we had to do was clean up after them. We got out of there at about 11.
Today I am going to brandon's church. Hannah Beth is getting baptized so like my whole family is going. I'm not sure what time we're supposed to be there though!!! My brother is even going!! After church, Mom, Rita Gale, Brandon, and myself are going to Johnson City. I'm not sure if anyone else is going but I know that us 4 are. I'd say Martin and maybe Haley will go, who knows.
I guess I'd better get off here and get ready!!
