(no subject)
This weekend completely wore me out but it was so much fun....I'm still trying to recover.
Friday I went to school for a little while then came home and fixed a cake for mom to take down to mamaws. I left at about 5 and went to Grundy to get my nails done. As soon as I got done there I went to mamaws for Papaw's birthday dinner. Rita Gale had also brought the jewelry that she had gotten me for prom. We left there at about 9:30 or so.
Saturday morning I had to get up at 5:30 for work. I had to be there at 7. Well my day started out terrible but it got so much better. I had washed some clothes the night before so that I would have to khakis clean to work in. Well when I got up I looked in the dryer and there was ink all over everything. A pen was left in there for some reason and it completely ruined a bunch of my good clothes. I just happened to have a pair that I had in my closet so I had to wear those and now they are the only khakis that I can wear until I have time to get me some new ones. I went to work and it wasn't too bad because I only had to work until 11. I didn't make that many tips but it was because I wasn't there that long and we weren't busy. When I got home from work I cleaned the house then I took about a 30 minute nap. I woke up at 2 and took a shower and stuff then I went to mom's to get my hair done. We just did up and plain since we knew it would do it. I came home and watched tv for a while then put my dress on. I was having major dress problems but Rita Gale got it fixed for me. Brandon got here about 5 and we left for prom. I had such a good time. After prom, Brittany, Jelane, Josh, Jada, me, and Brandon went to Applebees in Pikeville and ate. We got back here at about 2:30 or something like that and we watched a movie to unwind from the day. He left here about 4 and went to Nick's.
I got up at 10 Sunday morning and got ready for work. I had to be there at 12. I thought the day would be awful but it wasn't that bad. We were really really really busy though. I got home at about 5:45 which is excellent considering Cheryl thought I would be there until 2 in the morning. I didn't think that I was gonna be able to stay awake on the drive home. As soon as I got here I went to sleep and mom woke me up about 8 telling me that she was home. I got up and ate dinner and sat in the kitchen talking to mom for a long time. Brandon called about 9:30 and we talked for a while.
Now I am just waiting on him to call again. I don't have to be at school until 1:30 anymore. I think we get our Graduation invitations today. That's really exciting. It will make everything so final.
I will try to post some pictures of prom on my website eventually. Who knows when I'll get around to it.
