So, today was, um interesting. To say the least.
We went up to North bar at 8:30 this morning. My River City class and youth Corps. It's about a 45 min ride up there. I had music and slept most of the way. It was chilly and windy and misty, but it wasn't raining when we got there. We were there to do some community service and stuff, guess we really didn't know that until they started to distribute the work gloves and I got handed two 4x4's which were about 10 feet tall. We had to carry them down the path all the way up over the dunes to the side by Lake Michigan. After I carred about 6 of those, (mind you two of them weigh about as much as me..) we had to dig three foot holes in the ground to put the posts in to build the fence. It started to downpour about my second trip with the posts, and digging holes in sand is not easy. I was up to my waist in some of the holes. They were seriously deep. I had Ian's hoodie ad a pir of jeans on, but the wind blowing off thw water mixed with rain and the fog was just not fun. We also had to dig out the boardwalk thing, because it was ccovered with sand. Almost five feet of sand in some places!
Also, I just wanted to say I think I'm going to slip into the woodwork and just let go of the things I left at West. It's just getting harder to hold on, and that's not what I need right now.
So if you guys don't see me much anymore, I'm sorry.
