Halloween was okay... well, up until I had to go to work. Before I met up with Luke at Wal-Mart I headed up to PnS to get my picture taken (I remembered my Guide but forgot my towel, dammit! And I had a creepy Tom Baker smile...)
My Arthur Dent costume was pretty good, though only a handful of people actually knew who I was supposed to be. It was a bit warm, but I was wearing a bathrobe over two t-shirts.
Luke's 10th Doctor costume was better, though I think people probably had a harder time placing who he was than me (I think.) That, plus they probably just thought he was dressed to go to some special occasion other than Halloween.
Went to Wal-Mart and got a coffee cup which was supposed to be a teacup which never actually got used. We then went over to Gamescape where they were holding a party of sorts. I was actually pretty surprised how packed it was; its rarely ever that packed. Spent about two-three hours over there before I jetted off to work, still dressed in my Arthur Dent costume.
(I didn't get much of anything to eat between the time I got up to the time I went to work. I was hoping Gamescape would have had something good, but while they did, it wasn't something that I really cared for.)
Work was hell. I don't think I really go into details, but I once again managed to turn my six hour shift into an eight hour one (not hard when you really don't have the manpower that's needed to complete the task.)
Anyways, home now. I haven't decided whether I'm going to start moving today or wait and sleep in. I guess I'll see how much energy I have in a few hours.
BTW, you know what month it is? Its National Novel Writing Month! I was going to try to do something last year, but class and work made things a bit crazy. Hopefully I'll find time to writing something this year. If I do, it'll be that
fan fiction idea I came up with awhile ago.
