and although I cried at the pet store tonight, things are really quite okay.

So. I turned 18, and it was a wonderful wonderful day. Corey came to my house in the morning and took me away on a fantastic ADVENTURE!! I don't think I can adequately describe the entire day, so I'll just post some snippets in my normal Qzumaki fashion. :)

It was a comic book encyclopedia, Heroes season 1, "SINFULLY HAPPY." "just happy.", IHOP, Rooty Tooty Fresh 'n Fruity, wonderful old ladies in their bright red outfits, what movie to watch, CD and comic searching at Borders, two medium Cokes and a box of Junior Mints (what happened to those, anyways?), inspiring trailers, Eragon, a long drive, a quiet nap, a hilariously timed call from Tim, Cirque du Soleil, Yokohama, strangers at the hibachi, "This isn't rice!", a tinfoil peacock, a brief visit to the house, a return to the home, a real party with cake and ice cream, a beautiful computer bag, Saturday Night Live, "SIMMUH DOWN NOW!", Daredevil, and sleep. Oh and of course, "Three and a HALF!" :)

So as you can obviously see, it was a great day! :D

And yesterday I did nothing much but college apps and shopping for a swimsuit (and I ended up with a fantastic one!! :D). I felt kind of sick towards the evening, so I went to sleep at 7:30p. Aside from a brief awakening at 1ish, I slept until 10:30a this morning. ^^; Wow. Fifteen hours of solid, nearly-uninterrupted sleep.

And this morning, as I was eating breakfast, Mumika asked if I would like a facial. Of course I was happy to oblige. :) So I went to this wonderful lady named Charlotte, and she gave me a delightful two-hour facial, and now my skin is sooooooo soft and glowy and nice! And I got home and basically just got college apps organized, made sure that everything will be ready to go by Friday. And I watched some South Park tonight and it reminded me of Leah and Ms. Shimazu. That basically sums up my day. :P

Tomorrow I'll be in Andover for a quick visit...I can't wait! ;)

ttfn, my dearie ducks!
