I think man's greatest invention so far is the hot bath. ("But Q," you might exclaim, "the hot bath is just an imitation of natural hot springs!" To which I would reply, "Yes, but the greatest things come from imitating nature anyways. So it's really quite awesome.")
No seriously, I went home today and had a wonderful hot bath and it was sooooooo good...
Today I officially submitted my first complete college application. It was to U. Colorado Boulder. Clicking that "Submit Application" button was one of the most exciting things I've done in a while. :)
I hope I get into UC Boulder...I really do love it...
And did you guys hear that HILDA GOT INTO MIT??? That girl is amazing. I'm convinced, she can do anything she sets her mind to. :)
FAM and I spent some time today in a pet store, watching Russian Tortoises eat lettuce. They were hilarious. One of them kept on insisting on sitting IN the food bowl, leaving the other to chew on whatever fell out, basically. There was definitely an alpha male thing going on. It was really funny. :P
