OMG CORTEO.

But I'm getting ahead of myself!

This morning, Ethan and I went down to Starbucks for breakfast. I ate a little bit of a muffin and drank a cup of coffee. And aside from a small dinner, that was my food for the day. :P

Then I went to GW to meet with the other Corteo-goers. The group consisted of me, Wesley, Susannah, Anna, and Emily. We were escorted via rally wagon by Mr. Efinger and Ms. Strong. The drive wasn't too long, and it was rather pleasant. I really like all of the people in that rally wagon, so it was fun. :)

And then...then we got to the Grand Chapiteau. And we entered. And it was instant magic.

I'll do an official update tomorrow or some other soonish-time when I can find some free time. Then I'll describe all of the acts and do a general review of the show of your enjoyment!

But I can tell you right now: Corteo is the most beautiful, awe-inspiring thing I've ever seen from Cirque du Soleil. And I've seen some amazing things from them. Please look up this show. Hurry to iTunes, music.bn.com, or some other music share program and listen to as much of the song "Volo Volando" as you can to get a general feel for the atmosphere of the show (I bought it with my last dollar on iTunes and have been listening to it on repeat ever since). And please go check it out on the Cirque site (www.cirquedusoleil.com). Feel the magic.

So. After getting home from that breathtaking experience, I studied for a long time, took a nap, Corey came over and we studied (we ACTUALLY studied...the way you can tell is that now, I actually know the Japanese vocab :P), and hung out for a little bit before sign-in. And just now I finished my art essay and I'm thinking about going to sleep...

And hopefully I'll dream...

Dream about being in Corteo...
