Of Fandom Love, No Time and Dinosaur Arms
So, life has been crazy recently (I’m moving in two weeks, leaving the country in three and I’m torn between running screaming in circles and just curl up in the corner of my bed and hide under the blanket).
I’m seriously behind on comments, and leaving love, and writing, and reading (all the stories out there, just waiting to be read *sobs*) and yeah, general things. But I watch my flist, am totally excited about #tenderpeniskissing and enjoyed the hell out of stir_of_echoes and big_heart_june’s picspams.
After posting my spn_j2_bigbang, I was seriously exhausted, writing wise, but I have hopes to coax the muse out of her vacation. In case anyone noticed me failing spn_meanttobe, mea culpa, I hope I’ll still get the story written, but it was being very stubborn. I fixed up an old draft for a sequel for next Sunday’ smpc and then I’m back to Bees and a long overdue fandomaid story.
And people, the love meme! It was so wonderful to see all the love! So many people came out to play, it was truly heartwarming.
I was thrilled by the amount of dino lovers who came out of the woodworks, due to the fabulous specimen behind the cut, but I have to say: This is not a T-Rex! The arms, people, the arms!
Obviously, the body is too slender, and THE ARMS MUCH TOO LONG for a Rex. Someone suggested Velociraptor, and while build fits, upon closer inspection, no claw is gracing the middle toe. cassiopeia7 suggested this might be my fic-dino!Jensen, an Allosaurus, but I think their build is a bit bulkier.
It might be possible this is just a fantasy dinosaur, it’s fun speculating ;)
Anyway, my responses may remain floppy the next few weeks, but that's rl encroaching, not lack of love or interest.
