An Update (full of parentheticals)
Ah, I know that no one reads this, through no fault of their own-- I've really been too busy/lazy to post anything with any frequency. But I've started visiting some of the comms again so I thought I'd drop a line to, er, myself and anyone who does happen by (of those whom I actually know and otherwise). If you should actually read this, do say hi. And please don't take my out-of-the-loop-ness personally.
I'm still working downtown in the vast realm of corporate weirdness. However that will change (for real this time!) effective in a month or so. I'm looking for part-time work at a non-profit (i.e. preparing to be broke but happier).
The reason I'm looking for part time work is that I'll be offically starting my Masters of Educational Psychology in a few month's time (barring disaster). I've been offered admission to NYU Steinhardt and Columbia U Teachers College, and am trying to decide which to attend (which is a tough choice to make, although I'm certainly glad to have the choice. Advice please?!). With the two grad-level classes I'm taking this semester at TC and CUNY Hunter and the one I took last semester I'll already have three that I could transfer in, depending. I'm pretty excited but am mainly bogged down right now in figuring out (mainly funding-related) logistics.
Not much else to tell... I've been trying to take up yoga (although I quit the gym- I hate the gym) and cut back on the bloody marys (both a little half-assedly) but it's all getting easier.
