he told me i was beautiful

i've been so good at keeping myself busy so far.
no boredom yet,
that's good for not having a job...
and being stuck in this town.

we had days and days of sunshine,
so i soaked that up while i could --
now we have an entire week of rain ahead.
grosss.
lots of movie watching should be going down.

before starting my time at home,
i made a stop to msu to visit zach.
twice in a year, new record.
i love hanging out with him a ton.
i wish it happened more.

then i arrived home:
i've seen daniel & jeff a few times...
of course, watching movies/eating bad food happened with daniel.
finished a book, and two others...
starting the next today.
making up for the lack of that was happening during the school year.

jeff and i went to ann arbor tuesday night.
i love that city way too much,
i wish i would've been prepared for a bigger school when i was a freshman...
u of m would've been perfect.
i know i probably wouldn't have taken it all in so well though,
and i like where i am.
but i'm ready for a bigger place soon.
we went to go see 'found magazine's cavalcade of thrills tour 2006'
my friend kathryn and her boyfriend met us there too.
before davy went on,
slam poets presented --
i forgot how much i loved hearing them...
we had a presentation in humanities and it just made me want to write nonstop,
it had the same effect on me this time too..
why don't we have anything like that here?!?!
and the 'found' presentation was so hilarious and great.
couldn't believe some of the things they do find...
if they come near you: check it out!

i babysat.
worked out.
went downtown.
hung out with amber.
had a bbq with some cousins.
listened to regina spektor over and over.
went to a town with mom & ate at panera, mmmm.
(i've forgotten how good that place really is!)

yeah, so it's been a good start to summer.
... even though i have barely any friends that still live here.

today:
aunt p's house to help her move stuff from upstairs to downstairs.
workout?
cleaning.
paris scrapbook.
reading.
... i wish i never had to work.
i like this kind of life.
