Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review!

I was in a mood for a dark piece when I started swriting, after the finale, and I wanted to do something, i don't know, not like most people would do? I think that a lot of people will write about the post-ep with Olivia getting rescued, and I'm sure there will be some great pieces written on that topic, but I wanted to explore the otherpossibility, when she may have been held captive for more than a year or something as depressing...

I really think that Olivia is a fighter, and her terrified expression in the last scene of the finale broke my heart, but I thought that when the shock would fade, she would try to fight tjhem, with whatever way she could, ven if it meant relying on hallucinations she started having...

And yeah, Olivia would have always done what was the best for Peter/her country, she's just like that!

As for Peter... It felt right, that she would be the one talking to him, and not the other way around. His mind is so ghgjhgjgjhgj sometimes, I didn't feel like I could write something credible he might say...

And I'm glad you perceived the ambiguity, adn that it didn't deter you or something.. I was writing a very confused Olivia, and she herself wouldn't be able to know id she was hallucinating or really seeing him...

Anyway, thank you so much for your kind revies!

You're very welcome. I agree that Olivia is a fighter, a survivor, which is why I love that you highlighted her perseverance (think mid-S1 when she was captured by Loeb and his people, then managed to escape). I totally agree that despite her terrified expression at the end, she's going to learn to work through her own fears and find a way to defy them. Even if she can't make her way out of there by herself, she's going to do something to not let them win.

The ambiguity is really fitting for the tone of your piece. I'm glad you decided to end it that way!
