Words that please me greatly :)
I am continuing to enjoy your re-imagining of the last episode. And you really seem to climb inside Ash's head every time you write her.
No, of course not, was what she thought, but she didn't say it. She was too busy wondering what Scribbs had pictured, while simultaneously dealing the sound of a hundred and one alarm bells going off in her head. - Perfect image.
My favourite parts are all to do with Ash's repressed nature:
The self-deprecating words made Ash's throat tighten. "Scribbs... You haven't. You haven't messed anything up."
"You haven't," she said again. "Please don't apologize for..." Loving me. Wanting me. The words refused to pass her lips. It's me who should apologize. Me who's failed you. I'd explain it if I could -- if I understood myself why I can't just let it happen.
Don't let go, she wanted to say, but she couldn't.And Scribbs' realisation about Ash's reaction is lovely. I really hope we get to see this 'very ( ... )

I enjoyed less-angsty-more-sexy revisions of the bed scene done by yourself and others, but as usual I had to go in a more difficult direction.

One tiny nitpick: in the paragraph starting "Okay, this is bordering on obsession now", us Brits would say arses instead of asses. (Sorry to be anal.)
I'll be looking out for the rest of the series.
