AHHHHHHHH!
Ok, so i didnt really say anything to anyone about what i'm about to tell all of you. I wanted to wait until it was for sure. In December, i received my letter inviting me to interview for the Desoto Historical Society's Queens Court. Now, if you know me really well you would know that I was EXTREMELY excited! I've been to the Musical like every year and the parades you know, the whole nine yards.. anyways, The interview was at Bradenton Country Club Yesterday and it was like terrifying! I went with my mom and sat in front of 14 people who interviewed me and looked at things like; poise, academics, personality, knowledge of the community, etc. So i got the call today and I was asked to be on the Court!! That's 10 girls chosen from the 50 asked.
So as you can see I'm really excited and i wanted to finally get it out! Everything else is going good for me i suppose, schools not as good as last semester but school is school. I made the Dean's List, that's exciting too! I know a lot of people write in their LJ and it's usually to vent and complain (and its a good place to do that stuff!) so hopefully my entry was more cheerful!!
