Oh happy day.
I left Montreal almost two years ago. I sent in my immigration application in june last year. I've dealt with the papers and the mistakes and the unfathomable wait. I've been home some and then back here. Sara's visited a couple times. We've talked on the phone (almost) every night. I've missed her so much I can barely describe it. I've been through hell and back.
I probably won't be home for Christmas but I'll do my best to be there before the end of the year.
Today I got my confirmation letter. My visa application has been approved. A quick trip to the embassy and it's mine.
It's a glorious day for us. We're finally seeing the end of this long, exhausting road.
Just a little longer, baby. I'm coming home soon.
