I just finished watching Bones...the episode about the witches. That and a slightly creepy picture for Prompt #494 at staringout made this.

This makes me twitchy. It's not very good...but it feels so, so nice to be able to write something again.

She's a pretty hooker
at least until you get to her eyes.
Charcoal and glitter 'round the rims
distract
from hollow glances;
Demons have died in her mind.
Lucifer screams
trapped by the walls of his own creation
Even Satan can't stomach her
death.
