I just failed my first medical school exam. Exactly one week after receiving an award for exceptional academic performance during my first year of medical school, haha. During orientation they told us we would all fail at least one exam, and I beleived them, but I'm surprised it was this one. Oh well. I'm in no danger of failing the class so I'm not too worried. Overall, I've been pleasantly surprised at how well I've been doing, being a non-traditional student and all.
Happier school news - I am now the new president of Medical Students for Choice. Woo hoo! I'm very excited about it. The group was very active this year so I'm hoping to keep the momentum going. I'm also the secretary of the OB interest group, which I'm less excited about, but they needed to fill the positions.
And MSU is in the Final Four again!!! GO STATE! This makes 5 times to the FF in the last 11 years. And one of my profs is the men's basketball team physician which is pretty neat.
