there's a place in brooklyn where grand meets the water and folks gather to watch the sunset. like portland, nice places to enjoy the waterfront are few.
this is the other waterfront, the gowanus canal. not as grand, or even well-known, but i am in luv with it. birds chirping, old wooden hand-cranked drawbridges, lush plantlife, and the sweet-smell of sewage.
swans and little baby swans in prospect park.
trip, the tranny acid dealer, in thompkins square park.
latenite dining in chinatown. i thought it said "shrimp in a taco birds nest" and i thought that would be the greatest thing ever.
this is my friend johnny and his little girl, brave. he had an art show the nite after my show and we had a pharm-a-que the following afternoon.
bright eyes watches themselves on david letterman.
slim moon and katie (from young people) performing at my book launch.
slim's dog and real fun photostar, molly, who recently bloodied her paw while out playing...
...and her brother farmer who is sad that she gets all the attention.
yay for photostories! this one doesn't seem especially representative of all the rad stuff that i did, but i think it is pretty rad none-the-less.
