I have to work both days this weekend because some idiot jackoffs at our client company couldnt get their shit togeather to get us the specs on time and they cant move the deadline.

Heh, that sounds very familiar to what kept me at work on weekends last semester. Are you getting overtime, or time off later? Or is this one of those, taking one for the team moments?

No we get the option of getting paid or taking time off later. I wouldnt 'take one for the team' unless it was my fault things were behind. I'd usually take the time off later, because long weekends are good, but the terms almost over and were so busy i'd never get a day to take off so i'll just accept the moneys probably. The one nice thing is whenever we have to work weekend my boss pays for lunch, and we usually spend itleast $10-15 on this lunch

You were contracted to work pretty late into Dec, eh? Are you still getting off early, or do you actually have to work it, since you guys are so busy?

ya contract originally said end of dec. but we get monday and tuesday off as stat holidays, and i've gotten them to agree to let us take the other 3 days off as our vacation time so i'll get paid for that last week, which is good. So my last day of work will be the 24th, 2 more weeks. you?
