Recipe: Shawarma with Tuna

Ingredients:

Flaked light tuna (lemon & pepper, garlic & hot pepper) - 1 can [85 g]
Cumin - 1 tsp [5 mL]
Whole wheat pitas - 2 10" in diameter [25 cm]
Tomato (diced) - half
Romaine lettuce leaves (shredded) - 4 (2 per)
Red onion slices
Dill pickle spears
Cucumber ribbons

Sauce
Plain yogurt - 2 tbsp [30 mL]
Cucumber (diced) - 2tbsp
Dill (chopped) - 1 tbsp [15 mL]
Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
Lemon juice - 1 tsp

How to:
1. Sauce: in small bowl, mix together all ingredients and refrigerate.
2. In another bowl, combine tuna and cumin. Lay pitas flat, divide tuna mixture along center of each.
3. Top with tomato, onion and lettuce. Add pickle and cucumber, drizzle sauce.
4. Roll up tightly.
