Getting home, and one of the first things I do, surprise, surprise is catch up on reading everything that I had wanted to during the school year but never had the time, money or resources for.
Title: The Good, The Bad And The Uncanny, Nightside Book 10
Author: Simon R. Green
Date Published: Janurary 2010
Read for fun. Because clichés abound, and really, it isn't the best example of literature.
I think it should be illegal to use Arthurian legends in stories. One name, Excalibur, and I was never going to not finish this book. It was bandied about with little resolution accumulating into a cliffhanger. Really, a sword shaped package. It's not what you think it is. And for a second, I though that Tommy being missing had to do with Arthurian stuff too, what with him being a Camelot buff. All of this resulting from the death of Merlin Satanspawn, about four books ago.
And killing off Walker just when he started to seem like less of a bastard and was marginally likeable. Humph!
More added after a re-reading.
