Things Change. People Come and Go.

It's Easter. Which means not only is April coming soon, but also another less known "holiday" for a given value of the word. Otherwise known as "Qing Ming Jie", a Eastern tradition of grave sweeping that falls mere days after Easter, to respect those who died, as well as commemorate certain tragic events that have also fallen on that date. (The Tian An Men Square incident is one such example.) It is also meant as a festival which celebrates the arrival of spring.

清明時節雨紛紛
路上行人欲斷魂
借問酒家何處有
牧童遙指杏花村

Translation:
A drizzling rain falls like tears on the Mourning Day;
The mourner's heart is breaking on his way.
Where can a winehouse be found to drown his sadness?
A cowherd points to Almond Flower (Xing Hua) Village in the distance
