So Saturday morning I woke up suddenly at around 5 or so. I lay there for a minute trying to figure out why I'm awake. My eyes start to drift around looking for a likely cause--what the? Is that a person? No, it can't be--wait, it moved it's arm!! OMGTHEREISSOMEONESTANDINGOVERTHERE!!!!!! AAAHHH!!! AAAHHH!!! AAAHHH!!! A--uh? They split in two and part of them went flying out to the living room....
The "person" was the costume I had worn the night before and dumped on the exercise bike when I got home. The "arm" was Jett looking up to see why I was moving around when I should have been asleep. My point of view just happened to line them up and freak me out.
Poor baby, I scared him something awful when I yelled. I had to go find him and give him some high intensity pettins to calm him down.
Moral of the story: put your costumes away when you get home and you won't think it's an intruder and scare your cat.
The Evil One never moved from her spot on the bed. I'm pretty sure I heard her snickering when I came back.
