Random Update
Well, I survived my trip to the wilds of south-central Pennsylvania. Overall, it was a good trip. Right up until just before landing at DFW. When I lost it. "It" being the contents of my stomach. *sigh* This is why I hate flying.
Bedford Springs is going to be beautiful. They have some work still to do, but even now it's got "wow" factor. I took 218 photos while there. I may have been a little snap-happy. ;) The wiki has a brief, but decent, write up on it. For the record, two or three new springs were discovered during construction.
In other news, Jett was really upset with me for leaving him alone so long. He was supposed to be visited by Teh Momster on Monday, but she said she couldn't get the key to work. I'll try it when I get it back. It's the second key I got when I moved in and I've never used it. Meh. Getting a key copied isn't terribly expensive.
But back to Jett. He really needs another cat around. I've inquired about a white beauty named Snowball. The first hurdle is whether she'll get along with another cat (the listing doesn't say).

OMG! How funny is this?! Turns out that the contact for rescue organization is none other than guen_the_cat! I knew she worked for a rescue, but I never caught on which one. I find that amusing (in a warm fuzzy kind of way). Hi Maggie!
I need to do some sewing this weekend. I'm attending a tea the next weekend, and I thought it might be nice to actually finish the Edwardian. I need to remake the belt-obi-thing, and put real fasteners on the skirts. It's funny how unimportant fasteners become when you'd rather be doing something else. (Safety Pins = Love) I'm still contemplating making the blouse and a hat. But I'm obviously not terribly worked up over it. ;)
